Hugo has been part of the Edge Design and Construction team since 2023, bringing hands-on experience, attention to detail, and a creative eye for design to every project. Growing up around construction, he admired the pride people take in their work and developed the same passion for building, fixing, and improving.
What Hugo enjoys most about the industry is turning ideas into reality and seeing the satisfaction on clients’ faces when a project is complete. He is especially proud of his work on Footie Fit, one of his first major jobs with Edge, and a private custom home renovation project, where the finished result exceeded expectations.
Hugo contributes to the success of each project by staying reliable, detail-oriented, and focused on quality. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing soccer. Fun fact: Hugo once tried out for a professional Mexican soccer team as a goalkeeper.
The most valuable lesson he has learned is that patience, communication, and attention to detail are key to delivering quality work and keeping clients and teams satisfied. His advice for anyone considering a career in construction: be ready to work hard, stay curious, and never stop learning.
