Roy started with Edge Design and Construction in 2019 and is currently serving as Director of Special Projects. His career in construction began unexpectedly, but he stayed because he discovered a passion for teamwork and the satisfaction of seeing projects come to life. Drawing on his background as a competitive athlete, Roy brings the same drive and commitment to every build.
He enjoys the process of each project—from planning to completion—and values the relationships formed with subcontractors and clients along the way. Known for his attention to detail, Roy studies every phase of a project to ensure quality and timely delivery. His favorite tool? The backhoe, for its power and precision, which he sees as an extension of his own hands.
Outside of work, Roy treasures time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoys hiking mountain trails, pushing himself to reach the summit and take in the breathtaking views. A lesson he’s learned over the years: patience is key to making the right decisions. His advice for anyone considering construction: find joy in the work, because building something from concept to completion is one of the most rewarding experiences.
